Celebrating 5 Years in Real Estate in Halifax

This year marks five years since I started my real estate career. It feels both exciting and humbling to say that out loud.

When I got my license in 2021, I started at PRESS REALTY. I never looked anywhere else. From the start, it felt like the right place for me to build my business.

I have been grateful to grow alongside the brokerage. It has been exciting to watch PRESS evolve and keep moving toward the future. Being part of that transformation has meant a great deal to me.

As I look back, I feel proud of what has been built. Even more than that, I feel thankful for the people behind it.

Starting My Career in 2021

Like many new agents, I knew success would take work. I also knew I wanted to build my business the right way. For me that meant honesty, transparency, and strong client care from day one.

My first year in real estate was a special one. I was honoured to earn Rookie of the Year and Diamond Club.

That first year taught me a lot. It showed me that hard work matters. It also confirmed something even more important. People value clear guidance and honest advice.

Those lessons shaped how I work today. They still guide me in every client relationship.

Growth, Recognition, and Responsibility

Over the last five years, I have been fortunate to keep building momentum. I have also been lucky to work with incredible clients who trusted me through major life decisions.

For the last two years, I achieved Platinum Club. That is the highest sales volume award at the brokerage. I have also ranked in the top three agents for two years running.

This March, I became Managing Associate Broker. That milestone means a lot to me. It reflects growth in leadership, trust, and responsibility.

I am proud of those accomplishments. Still, what matters most is what they represent. They reflect client trust, ongoing support, and the chance to keep doing meaningful work.

What Has Mattered Most

If I had to point to one thing, it would be this. Being honest and transparent has mattered most.

Real estate is emotional. It can also feel overwhelming at times. My goal has always been to help clients feel informed and supported.

I never want people to feel pressured. I want them to feel clear on their options. I want them to feel confident in their decisions.

That approach has shaped my business from the beginning. It has helped me build lasting relationships. It has also allowed me to serve people in a way that feels genuine.

A Career Rooted in Community

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the community side of the business. That piece has become a very meaningful part of my work.

I am especially proud of the West End Community Group. I am also proud of events like West End Community Park Day and the yearly Pumpkin Patch.

These events create real connection. They bring neighbours, families, and local businesses together. That kind of community matters to me.

For me, real estate has never only been about homes. It is about people, neighbourhoods, and belonging. Helping support that feeling has been one of the most fulfilling parts of the last five years.

Thank You

Five years in, I do not take any of this for granted.

To every client who trusted me, thank you. To everyone who referred me, supported me, or encouraged me, thank you. Your trust has shaped this business in a lasting way.

I am also grateful to the team at PRESS REALTY. It has been a privilege to grow within a brokerage that keeps looking ahead while staying grounded in what matters.

Looking Ahead

As I think about the next five years, my focus is simple.

I want to continue growing in a way that feels organic. I want to stay mindful of the needs of my past, current, and future clients. I want to keep learning, improving, and showing up with care.

There is a lot to be excited about. I feel grateful for what is ahead.

Five years in, I still feel motivated to serve people well. I am proud of the journey so far. I am even more excited for what comes next.

Thank you for being part of it.
